हमारे सौर परिवार में आठ (eight ) ग्रह है। पहले यह नौ था लेकिन जो नौवां ग्रह था वह ग्रहो के नियमो को ठीक से नहीं सम्मिलित था। यही कारन है की उसे ग्रहो की सूचि से निकाल दिया गया है। और अब मात्र आठ ग्रह ही होता है।
सौर परिवार में वे सभी सम्मिलित है जो सूर्य के चारो और चक्कर लगातें है। सभी ग्रह सूर्य को केंद्रीत कर इनके चक्कर लगाते है।
आईये इनके नाम जान लेते हैं –
1. Mercury – बुध – सूर्य के सबसे नजदीक और सबसे छोटा ग्रह बुध है। यह सबसे नजदीक होने के कारन अधिक गर्म भी है।
2 Venus – शुक्र– यह ग्रह पृथ्वी के नजदीक की ग्रह है। हम इसे पृथ्वी पर से रात के समय में देख पाते है। चन्द्रमा जो अधिक चमकीला यही दिखाई देता है।
3.Earth – पृथ्वी– पृथ्वी ही एक मात्र ग्रह है जिसमे अभी तक जानकारी के अनुसार जीवन है। यह आंतरिक्ष से देखने पर नीले रंग की दिखाई पड़ती है। इसका कारन पृथ्वी पर अधिक जल होने के कारन दिखाई पड़ती है। इसका एकमात्र उपग्रह चन्द्रमा है।
4.Mars – मंगल– यह पृथ्वी की दूसरी नजदीक ग्रह है। इस ग्रह में कुछ जैसे है पर अब तक पानी का पता चल नहीं पाया है।
5.Jupiter – ब्रस्पति– यह सौर मंडल की सबसे बड़ा ग्रह है
6.Saturn – शनि– सौर मंडल का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा ग्रह शनि है।
7.Uranus – अरुण– यह सूर्य से काफी दूर है। दूर होने की वजह से यह बहुत ठंढी भी है। इसे नग्न आँखों से नहीं देखा जा सकता है। इसे देखनेके लिए माइक्रोस्कोप की आवशयकता होती है।
8.Neptune – वरुण– यह ग्रह सूर्य से काफी दूर और आखिर में है। काफी दूर होने की वजह से यह काफी ठंढा भी है।
